It wasn’t too long ago that the best option for installing stair lighting involved large, clunky fixtures built into the wall next to the stairs.   Those old fixtures had to be large to accommodate standard light bulbs, and had to be vented to allow the intense heat from the incandescent bulbs to escape.
Today, more and more designers, builders, and homeowners have switched to LED lighting for the entire house, but especially for areas like staircases where space for lighting is limited.

How it work
The controller will turn on the lighting on the stairs when one of the motion sensors is triggered. The lighting will illuminate the stairs immediately with the set programme (cascading effect - the light are lit up step by step). After a set time the lighting on the stairs will automatically fade out and turn off. 

Motion sensores
The motion sensors are fitted at the top and bottom of the staircase and switch the lights on when someone passes them directly. The motion sensors are designed to have a range of 1.0m-1.3m.
